Who - I'm a veteran baseball writer with five years of experience scouting and covering baseball prospects. Where - During the minor league baseball season, I travel to a number of cities to scout fantasy baseball prospects in person. Trips have included The Cactus League (AZ), Savannah (GA), Rome (GA), Chattanooga (TN), Asheville (NC), Greenville (SC), Greeneville (TN), Huntsville (AL) and Auburn (NY). As the ROTOscouting newsletter grows, I'll continue to expand my baseball prospect coverage area.
When - ROTOscouting Newsletters ubscribers will receive an average of three pieces per week.
Why - A guy's gotta make a living. For as much as I enjoy breaking baseball prospects like Boston Red Sox' Xander Bogaerts or Colorado Rockies' Nolan Arenado, being the originator of baseball prospect material based on first hand looks is expensive and time consuming. Quite often, it comes at the expense my spouse and three young children. They have been nothing but supportive, but it's time for me to make a run at doing this for a career, or go do something else.
